Roman FEDORIV

Roman was born in Ternopil in 1975 and his passion for music dates from his youth when he started studying the accordion at the local school. He studied choir conducting at music college in his native town Ternopil followed by the Academy of Music in Lviv and graduated 'cum laude' in 1999. Presently, Roman is acting both as a singer and as International Manager for the Orpheus ensemble. Recently, he also graduated from the financial faculty of the Economic University.




Vadym SUKHYY

Vadym was born in Kremenchug (in Central Ukraine) in 1976 and as a child studied the piano and the clarinet in his native region. The family later moved to Lviv where he studied and graduated as a clarinettist from the Acadamy of Music in that city. He started singing while studying at the academy and is now a very valued member of Orpheus (the lowest bass singer in the group) and one of the best basses in the entire region! Presently, Vadym also works as a pianist at the National Drama Theater in Lviv.




Semen PIHURA

Semen was born in Lviv in 1979 and is in Orpheus ensemble from the beginning. He also studied choral conducting at the music college of Lviv and then began his studies in Croatian and oter slavonic languages at the National State University. Currently he is a student at the Academy of Staff Administration and is also interested in politics and managerial work.




Lyubomyr KONCHAKIVSKYY

Lyubomyr was born in 1978 in Lviv region and started his musical career by performing Ukrainian folk songs as a young boy winning several music competititons. During his studies in the music college he was a member of a youth group and continued his studies at Lviv Music Academy in the field of choral conducting. In addition to his interest and training in music he is a graduate of the faculty of law at Lviv University.




Petro PETRYK

Petro was born in Mykolayiv region in 1954 and later attended and graduated from the State Conservatory in Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine. He performed as a soloist at the Music Drama Theatre of Vinnytsia and in 1995 moved with his family to Lviv and became a member of the military song and dance ensemble there. He has been a member of the Orpheus ensemble since its founding.




Andriy KHAVUNKA

Andryy was born in Kryvyy Rig (the Dnipropetrovsk region) in 1967, graduated from the Polytechnic Institute at Lviv and then studied at the local Acadamy of Music in order to become an opera singer and professional actor. During his student days he also took part in the struggle for independence of Ukraine in 1990-93. In addition to being a member of Orpheus, he is also a professional soloist and valuable actor at the National State Opera Theatre in Lviv. Awarded an honorary title "The Honored artist of Ukraine".



Petro KUKURUZA

Petro was born in 1982 in Lviv. Was fond of music since the childhood. The first step in musical career was musical school in which he studied bayan. After he studied choir conducting in Lviv music college and Lviv State Musical Academy. During his studies started to sing in different choirs of Lviv and often perform with them on different concerts in Ukraine and abroad namely in Italy, Greece, Spain and Switzerland. In ORPHEUS sings since September 2008.




Pavlo TABAKOV

Pavlo was born in Lviv in 1978 and is now a graduate of the Lviv Music Academy as a professional accordian player end folks instruments' orchestra conductor. Pavlo is very much interested in European and international jazz music, but also in "a capella" singing - he has composed some works for a cappella music. In 2005, Pavlo became the first-prize winner of the Ukrainian TV-project "Shans" (can be compared with Idols in other countries) and presently performs as a solo singer as well. He still cooperate with Orpheus on some projects.
